The Bottom Line that is of the $1 Trillion Dollar 10 year estimate, between $300 Billion and $400 Billion is planned to come from Medicare cuts to hospitals and prescription drugs!

This can only be accomplished by rationing care in some way. Does that mean no more bionic knees for those over say 70 years of age? Would it mean that Medicare will no longer pay the $18,000 a year for my wife’s Betaseron for her MS? Does that mean much higher co-pays for those of us on Medicare? Or does it simply mean that Doctors and Hospitals will refuse to take Medicare patients?
