Richard R. Kern

Richard R. Kern grew up in Idaho Falls, ID., married Jacqueline Hilton in 1972, they have 9 children and currently live in Elizabeth, CO. He is a retired mustang Major in the USAF. While in the Air Force he was Flight Commander Missile Combat Crew (Minute Man III), and Alternate Command Post Commander. His assignments included the Ballistic Missile Office as an Acquisitions Contracting Officer for the Assembly and Checkout (A&CO) of the Peacekeeper missile system, working with contracts for the Small InterContinental Ballistic Missile, Ground Launch Control System, Airborne Launch Control System, and Guidance and Control Integration for the Small ICBM. At the Air Force Institute of Technology he taught cost and price analysis with statistics for contracts.

He returned to Colorado as a business analyst with KPMG Peat Marwick supporting the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) with cost/price analysis. Since then he has done computer application and web programming, and is currently teaching math in Denver.

He has operated retail and wholesale businesses and has had a publishing business for the last 17 years. He holds BS and MBA degrees in Business Administration.

He is an active amateur radio operator (KE9RN), Boy Scout Leader and Woodbadge ASM. A published author with several more books in the works he is determined to help steer the course of this nation back to one of sanity and solid principles.
